Vidfield AI ("Vidfield," "we," "us," "our") provides a web-based creative platform with a canvas workflow and tools such as Image, Video, Enhance, Motion Transfer, and 3D, plus an Assets library (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you when you use https://vidfield.ai or otherwise interact with us.

This Policy applies when you use the Services as a consumer. It does not apply to information we process about you as a job applicant, contractor, or employee.

By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to this Privacy Policy.

1) What This Privacy Policy Covers

  • This Policy covers how we treat information we collect from you when you access or use the Services.
  • This Policy does not cover the practices of companies we do not own or control (for example, third-party AI providers, hosting providers, analytics providers, payment processors). Those third parties have their own privacy policies.

2) Personal Data We Collect

In this Policy, "Personal Data" means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you.

2.1 Categories of Personal Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of Personal Data:

a) Profile / account data

  • name (if provided)
  • username (if used)
  • email address

b) Content and project data

  • prompts and instructions you type
  • images, videos, audio, and other files you upload
  • canvas/project data, edits, versions, and assets you store
  • generated outputs (images, videos, enhancements, motion transfer results, 3D outputs)
  • export/download actions and file preferences
  • support messages and communications

c) Device and IP data

  • device type, operating system, browser type/version, language
  • IP address
  • approximate location derived from IP

d) Usage and analytics data

  • pages viewed, clicks, navigation paths
  • feature usage (e.g., which tools are used)
  • timestamps and session activity
  • performance and diagnostic logs (errors, crash reports)

e) Payment and transaction data (if you purchase)

  • payment status, plan type, invoices/receipt identifiers
  • billing metadata needed to administer subscriptions/credits

(We generally do not store full payment card details.)

2.2 Sensitive Information

You control what you submit. Please do not upload sensitive personal information (e.g., passwords, government IDs, financial account numbers, medical information) unless you truly need to and have the right to share it.

If your uploads contain other people (face, voice, or personal data), you are responsible for providing any required notice and obtaining any required consent.

3) Sources of Personal Data

We collect Personal Data from:

  • You. When you create an account, upload content, generate outputs, export results, or contact support.
  • Automatic collection. Through cookies, local storage, logs, and similar technologies when you use the Services.
  • Service providers. From vendors that help us operate the Services (hosting, storage, analytics, security, support). If you purchase a plan, we may also receive transaction metadata from billing/payment processors.
  • Other users (if sharing is enabled). If a user shares a project or output with you.

4) How We Use Personal Data

We use Personal Data to:

a) Provide, customize, and improve the Services

  • create and manage accounts
  • process Inputs and generate Outputs
  • save projects/assets and enable export/download
  • provide features, troubleshooting, and improvements
  • run internal analytics and performance monitoring

b) Communicate with you

  • send service-related messages (account, security, billing)
  • respond to support requests
  • send updates about product or policy changes

c) Safety, security, and abuse prevention

  • detect fraud, misuse, automated abuse, and security incidents
  • enforce our Terms and policies
  • protect the Services and users

d) Marketing and advertising (now or in the future)

  • measure marketing performance (e.g., conversions)
  • run and evaluate campaigns
  • where enabled, support advertising features such as retargeting and audience measurement

e) Legal and compliance

  • comply with applicable law and lawful requests
  • enforce agreements and resolve disputes
  • protect rights, property, and safety

Administration. The Services are administered from Rajasthan, India, and supported by service providers in other regions.

5) How We Disclose Personal Data

We may disclose Personal Data to:

  • Service providers (vendors). We share Personal Data with third-party providers that help us operate and support the Services. This may include providers for:
    • payment processing and subscription billing,
    • website/app hosting, content delivery networks (CDNs), and infrastructure,
    • cloud storage and databases,
    • analytics and performance monitoring,
    • customer support and communications, and
    • security and fraud prevention.

    These providers process Personal Data on our behalf under instructions and are expected to protect it.

  • AI and infrastructure providers. Some features rely on third-party AI models and compute providers. To generate Outputs, your Inputs (and related processing data) may be transmitted to and processed by those providers.
  • Legal and safety disclosures. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce Terms, investigate fraud, or protect rights/safety.
  • Business transfers. If we undergo a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, Personal Data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your direction. If you share an output/project link or otherwise choose to make content available to others (if enabled), recipients may access that shared content.

We do not sell Personal Data for money.

6) Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies, pixels, SDKs, local storage, and similar technologies for:

  • Essential cookies. Required for authentication, session management, and core functionality.
  • Functional cookies. Remember preferences and settings.
  • Performance / analytics cookies. Help us understand usage and improve reliability and experience.
  • Advertising and marketing measurement (now or in the future). We may use these technologies for marketing attribution, conversion measurement, and — if enabled — retargeting and audience analytics.

Your choices. You can control cookies through browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may limit functionality.

Do Not Track (DNT). Some browsers send DNT signals. Because there is no consistent standard, we may not respond to these signals.

7) Data Retention

We retain Personal Data as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide the Services and maintain your account,
  • comply with legal obligations,
  • resolve disputes and enforce agreements, and
  • protect the Services (security and abuse-prevention logs).

Retention may differ by data type (account data vs. logs vs. uploads/outputs). You may be able to delete certain content using tools in the Services. You can request account deletion by contacting us.

8) Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect Personal Data. However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping credentials safe.

9) Children's Privacy

Vidfield AI is not intended for children under 13, or under 14 where parental consent is required under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children in a way that requires parental consent without obtaining that consent. If you believe a child has provided Personal Data without required consent, contact us.

10) International Transfers

Your information may be processed in USA, India, and other countries where our service providers operate. Data protection laws may differ by location.

11) Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of Personal Data, and to opt out of certain processing (including targeted advertising where required by law).

11.1 Advertising opt-out (where applicable)

If you have the right to opt out of targeted advertising or "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, email us with subject "Advertising Opt-Out."

11.2 California (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain "sale" or "sharing" as defined by California law. Vidfield does not sell Personal Data for money. If advertising-related technologies are considered "sharing" under California law, you may request to opt out.

11.3 How to exercise your rights

To submit a request, email support@vidfield.ai with subject "Privacy Request."

If applicable, you may appeal a denial by emailing support@vidfield.ai with subject "Privacy Appeal."

We may request information to verify your identity before responding.

12) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Policy.
